Slipping on by on LSD, heading into town

A view of the south end of Lincoln Park with the newly constructed driveways, great bathing beach and recreation pier, and 440-foot beach house. This development, completed by the Chicago Park District in 1941, adds another to the many attractions of Chicago as a place for summer fun.

The North Avenue Beach House was recently reconstructed in the same basic style, to appear like a cruise ship.
